Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has affirmed the federal government’s commitment to providing essential infrastructure for businesses in the Lekki Free Zone (LFZ) to bolster production and related activities. Shettima made this assurance during a meeting on Wednesday with representatives from the LFZ, led by Mr. Haresh Aswani, the Managing Director of Tolaram Group, during their courtesy visit to the State House in Abuja.

Following a presentation on the Transformative Solutions for Road Infrastructure in the Lekki Economic Axis, the Vice President emphasized that the development of road infrastructure along the Lekki axis would be given priority. He highlighted the government’s dedication, citing the substantial economic and social benefits for citizens and the government, along with the potential for creating new opportunities for Nigerians.

Shettima underscored President Bola Tinubu’s pro-business leadership history as a catalyst for the area’s development, which holds significant economic advantages for both the government and the people. He further assured businesses operating in the LFZ and across the country that the Tinubu administration is poised to make historic strides.

“We are going to surmount all of the challenges and address the bottlenecks militating against the growth of businesses in the country,” the Vice President added.
