Africa’s wealthiest individual Aliko Dangote has disclosed the key business success principle that he shared with late Access Bank CEO Herbert Wigwe. Dangote said perseverance was a key principle of business success that he shared with the late co-founder and former Group Chief Executive of Access Bank Holdings.
Dangote made this revelation during an event titled ‘Celebrating Herbert Wigwe – A Professional Legacy’ in Lagos. Reflecting on Wigwe’s character, Dangote described him as a courageous soldier.
He said Wigwe was a pillar of support for him and his family.
“His wise counsel and relentless support are central to the growth of Dangote group. His courage was second to none, and he was fearless. Herbert and I shared a common principle of perseverance, which is one of the cardinal virtues of success in Business”, he added.
